There are these moments in our lives when everything seems to just crunch onto itself and we’re trying so hard to figure ourselves out of the situation in the best possible way but nothing truly seems to be working. And most of the time, it’s probably not meant to.
Because, rather than trying to fix the situation by solving it mentally, perhaps it is merely showing us something about ourselves that we can become aware of and awaken from. A pense through which we perceive reality which can be shed or released. In that sense, when life seems to be throwing us in a dragons den and we’re counting the amount of steps needed to get out, perhaps we should take a little look at the dragon first.
Why are we here in the first place and why are we so desperate to get out? Is there some gold covered in shit that we’re missing out of by desperately seeking our way out of the place we are in. Imagine this was all there was. Would you still reject it and try so hard to go elsewhere? Or would you have to surrender and face yourself where you are?
There are many movements of the ego to try and make the present moment wrong for simply showing us what it is we are not wanting to look out. So in these moments, can we drop the struggle, tune into the heart and see with clarity that things aren’t nearly as bad as they seem. In fact, could it be so perfect that all is already perfect? And that our anxious interpretation of reality does not make any difference to reality itself.
This is how we can learn to approach life, ourselves, the peaks and the valleys and everything we experience and live in greater harmony. Peace is sometimes not so far away as we make it, even when we find ourselves in the gutter of our own realms of creation. So when you don’t know what to do, maybe do nothing for a bit. Or take a breath and realize the story you’re telling yourself, let it go and set yourself free. Over and over again. Until there’s nothing to be free from. ♥️
