Which chocolate goes best with blueberries? How about variations?
You can of course use any chocolate of your liking, however, to keep the nutritious value, I recommend you purchase an organic and dairy-free chocolate bar. And of course, make it dark chocolate. Now, if you are more flexible and wish to create a few different flavors then feel free to use a creamy and sweet milk chocolate which provides a smoother contrast. Or a happy medium would be a semi-sweet chocolate.
Want to enhance your chocolate a little more? Go for it. Add a drop of almond extract or vanilla extract to your melted chocolate mixture for some added flavor.

FAQs & Tips
Store your leftovers in an airtight vessel and keep them in the refrigerator for up to 5 days. As this is a quick and simple recipe, there isn’t much you can do to prep in advance, though you can wash your blueberries and pat dry with a paper towel to save a few extra moments later down the line.
The best way to avoid brittle chocolate is to incorporate your coconut oil, or whatever alternative it may be, as it heats. The added oil will slightly soften the chocolate, preventing it from being too brittle. No coconut oil on hand? No worries. You can always replace it with some unsalted melted butter, avocado oil or olive oil.
If you don’t have any blueberries on hand you can always use strawberries, raspberries, dried mango or candied orange peel. Optional additional toppings are sea salt, unsweetened flaked coconut, and cinnamon.
