While we love our Chicago summers, we admit we need an escape from the winters here. This is why we try to plan a yoga retreat each winter for around January or February – so we can take a tropical vacation with you, our yoga buddies! Coming up in 2025, we will retreating to El Salvador. It is a new destination for us, and we are very excited for what we have planned!

Twice Daily Yoga/Meditation Schedule may vary when there is an excursion planned, but morning meditation/active yoga and evening gentle yoga can be expected.
All Meals à la carte breakfast, lunch and dinner each day. Ingredients are sustainable and locally sourced from fishermen and farmers and intended to honor the Mesoamerican heritage and its people. Filtered water is always available along with three daily non-alcoholic juices, smoothies or drinks. Alcoholic drinks can be purchased at the bar and are not included.
Mayan Blessing Two Mayan shamans will host a spiritual blessing of the energy centers with copal, herbs, and rituals.
Spa Massage Enjoy a 50-minute massage in the on-site Spa.
Unlimited Horseback Rides You will learn to saddle your horse and efficiently ride. Explore trails for adventure and anthropology. The vaqueros (cowboys) are passionate about sharing the way of the horse in a safe and intriguing way. This radical way to disconnect from artificial stimulus and plug into your core self will be an adventure you will never forget!
Waterfalls Trip Day trip to the jungle waterfalls of Tamanique. We will hike into the rainforest to find cascading, refreshing waterfalls that can be jumped, slided or gently walked into, creating a one-of-a-kind experience!
Cliff Hike It is said the cliff that frames Mizata has transformative powers. Hike it on a quick 15-minute cliff tour and view the resort from high above.
Bonfire Release We will enjoy this experience on the final evening of the retreat.
Private Airport Shuttle from El Salvador International Airport (SAL). Transfers take approximately 2 hours and are included at any time on January 12th and 18th. Airfare not included.
