Teaching to kids is something extra special. Not only are kids able to have a lot of fun in a yoga class, which in turn makes it fun for the teacher, but also, we know that yoga offers children so many benefits! We are happy to be able to give parents another way to foster these qualities in their children.
Yoga can provide a lifelong foundation for well-being: physically, emotionally and spiritually. Yoga breathing informs children of their energy levels and teaches them techniques for both calming and energizing. Yoga postures build strong, limber, and healthy bodies. Verbal instruction improves body awareness and listening skills.
As you know, yoga is non-competitive, which cultivates a stronger sense of self-esteem and self-acceptance. Yoga improves interpersonal skills: social interaction, compassion, and empathy. Yoga provides a quiet space for introspection.
