How to Make Maple Brown Sugar Oatmeal

In a small pot, add the oats, cinnamon and salt, stirring to combine with a wire whisk.
Add the water, bringing the mixture to a boil while stirring. Cook for 1 minute or until oats have thickened.
Let stand for a few minutes, then stir in the brown sugar and maple syrup. DEVOUR!
If you want to kick your bowl of oatmeal up a notch at breakfast time, there are quite a few ways to jazz it up. If you want to add some fruit to the oatmeal, I would suggest some cooked apples. Their flavor will pair well with the brown sugar and maple syrup and the outcome will be absolutely delicious! - 1/2 Cup Quick 1 minute oats
