This simple Air-Fryer Garlic Bread recipe takes just 10 minutes to make—pair it with your favorite pasta, salads, and appetizers!

I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve made garlic bread. Usually, I’d just use my oven or toaster oven, depending on the size of the batch. However, I’ve recently discovered that my air fryer is great for making garlic bread. For one thing, the air fryer speeds up the cooking time. Even better, it delivers a level of crispiness my oven can’t match.
At first, air-fryer garlic bread sounds tricky, but it’s really not. With the timer set, you don’t have to hover over the appliance. Most air fryers shut off automatically, so there’s little risk of burning the bread. That said, you shouldn’t stray too far from the kitchen—better safe than sorry.
Overall, air-fryer garlic bread is a quick cook. In just minutes, you’ll have a restaurant-worthy appetizer topped with aromatic buttery garlic, fresh parsley, and (if you want) a sprinkle of Parmesan. This is one of my favorite easy appetizers to make, and it might just become yours, too!

How does an air fryer work?
I asked myself the same question when my mom got hers. It’s one thing to look it up on Google—it’s a whole other thing to experience the magic of the machine in person! Air fryers work similarly to convection ovens, as they circulate hot air to increase cooking speed and thereby reduce cook time. However, an air fryer is unique because it is designed to mimic the effects of deep frying, resulting in crispy and golden-brown dishes like this one.

How do I store leftovers?
Once the air-fryer garlic bread has cooled to room temperature, wrap it in aluminum foil and then store it in the fridge for 2-3 days. Reheat in the toaster oven for about 5 minutes, and enjoy it sooner rather than later! Leftover garlic bread tends to go stale quickly.

Serving suggestions
It’s not hard to consider what magnificent meals might follow this garlicky little appetizer, but it all depends on your preference. For example, it’s a great snack to pair with a glass of White Sangria.
Want a yummy Italian-American dinner? Serve the garlic bread with Pink Sauce Pasta or Instant-Pot Meatballs. Or pretend like you’re going out to America’s favorite Italian restaurant and make an Olive Garden Salad. It also tastes delicious as a side for a hearty meal of Smoked Meatloaf, Smashed Potatoes, and Roasted Frozen Broccoli. Whichever meal you choose, air-fryer garlic bread can be a delicious way to start.
