This TikTok Cucumber Salad went viral for a good reason—it’s delicious!

I have once again been influenced! During one of my recent bedtime routine doom-scrolls, I got to thinking, “I’ve got to start eating healthier.” I decided to go to TikTok for recipe inspo, because to be honest, the chefs of TikTok have given me some major pointers on how to enhance my own recipes and try new things. That’s when I found it. Right there in my FYP section, I discovered my new obsession: the viral TikTok cucumber salad.
This cucumber salad recipe gained popularity earlier in 2024 when famous TikTok creator Logan Moffitt (otherwise known as @logagm on your feed) shared it with the world. Logan has gained millions of views and followers for his TikTok recipes, which usually include cucumber and/or kimchi. But he’s perhaps most famous for his cucumber salad.
If you’re not a TikToker, I’ll save you the trouble of digging through the TikTok-verse to try to find Logan’s original video. I’ve made the salad myself, and with a few tweaks, it’s ready to share with all of you. This cucumber salad is super quick and easy to make (I’m talking 5 minutes in the kitchen!). It only takes a few ingredients—most of which you’ll probably already have on hand—and a quick mix before you’re ready to crunch down on cucumbery goodness.
If I haven’t already convinced you that this salad is worthy of the millions of views it’s gotten, I’m about to. It’s made with the most refreshing and light ingredients, making it a quick pick-me-up when you’re in need of a healthy snack. It’s got zesty lemon, garlicky goodness, and Greek yogurt for a cooling effect. Is your mouth watering yet?
Is TikTok Cucumber Salad Healthy?
The whole reason I discovered this cucumber salad is because I was on the hunt for healthy recipes. Well, I definitely found it with this salad! The viral TikTok cucumber salad is vegetarian, gluten-free (just make sure you use GF soy sauce and rice vinegar), nut-free, and can easily be made vegan! Just use a non-dairy yogurt substitute for the Greek yogurt. Even as-is, this salad is a low-calorie, highly nutritious snack.
Cucumbers ARE Cool
The star of this show isn’t actually the viral content creator who put this salad on the map… it’s the main ingredient! Cucumbers are one of the best veggies you can incorporate into your diet. They’re ultra-hydrating because of their high water content, plus they’re packed with antioxidants, fiber, and vitamins and minerals.

FAQs & Tips
You can store this TikTok cucumber salad in an airtight container in the fridge for 2 to 3 days. I recommend storing it in a large deli container, which allows you to easily shake up the salad and redistribute the flavor when you’re ready to eat it.
One of my favorite ways to enjoy this cucumber salad is to add a little spice. Sprinkling Tajín over this dish gives it a zesty, tangy, just-spicy-enough flavor blast. If you don’t have Tajín in your spice cabinet, try a mixture of chili powder, lime juice, and sea salt for a similar taste.
If you’re not a fan of Greek yogurt, or your diet prohibits it, try making this salad with a tahini dressing instead, or just ditch the creamy element completely. The dish is just as good without it!

Serving Suggestions
This TikTok cucumber salad makes for a tasty, light, and refreshing mid-day snack, but it can also serve as your salad before a good dinner. Follow it with a healthy and hearty entrée, like a Coconut Chicken Curry or Lamb Chops. This cool cucumber salad also nicely balances warm and spicy dishes like Spicy Chili, Kimchi-Jjigae, or Chile Verde.
