These low-carb tortillas are perfect for tacos, wraps, and so much more!

Who knew you could make such hearty and scrumptious tortillas with a good dose of protein and no gluten or added sugar? This might just be one of the healthiest ways to enjoy your favorite tacos, burritos, or wraps. I like using them in sweet preparations, whether it’s for breakfast or a uniquely healthy dessert. One of my favorite things to do is to slather a tortilla with a mix of plain Greek yogurt and sunflower seed butter, then top it with granola. Roll it up, and you’ve got a power wrap that’ll have you crushing those cravings.
With a mild, nutty flavor and a soft, chewy texture, these tasty tortillas will fill you up and keep you energized throughout the day. They have a satisfying bite, perfect for holding your favorite fillings without breaking apart. They’re really easy to make and far superior to anything you can buy at the store. Once you try this recipe, you’ll never want to go back to store-bought tortillas again!
Are Keto Tortillas Healthy?
Absolutely! They’re made with clean ingredients and are a source of plant-based protein and fiber. They’re not only keto (low-carb) but also gluten-free, sugar-free, and vegan. Almond flour (the base for this recipe) is a source of vitamins, minerals, healthy fats, and antioxidants. You can use avocado oil instead of vegetable oil for more healthy fats. Easy to digest, fulfilling, and made from whole-food ingredients, these tortillas are likely to become a favorite.
What does Keto Mean?
The keto (short for ketogenic) diet is a way of eating that induces the body into ketosis, a metabolic state where fats are broken down into ketones, which act as an alternative energy source. This diet is often associated with benefits like weight loss, better blood sugar control, reduced brain fog, and increased energy levels, though these effects can vary depending on the individual.
It requires consuming a high amount of healthy fats, a moderate amount of protein, and very low carbohydrates to induce ketosis and reduce the body’s dependence on glucose for energy. While some people follow the diet temporarily, others may adopt it as a long-term lifestyle, depending on their health goals. If you’re considering it, it’s important to talk to your doctor or nutritionist before starting.

FAQs & Tips
Though I prefer enjoying these freshly made, they can easily be made ahead of time for quick weekday meals. Once cooked, simply stack them in between layers of parchment paper and place them in a freezer-safe bag. Freeze for up to 3 months, or refrigerate for up to 3 days. They can be reheated on the stove.
To prevent almond flour tortillas from falling apart, use a rolling pin to evenly roll out the dough on parchment paper. Also, avoid rolling it too thinly.

Serving Suggestions
While these tortillas make great pockets for Ground Chicken Tacos and the veggie-friendly Avocado Tacos, you can also serve them as a breakfast-style wrap with scrambled eggs topped with green onions and chopped tomatoes.
Alternatively, you can also enjoy them in a Grilled Mango Chicken Cauliflower Rice Wrap, combining sweet and savory nicely.
