Turn to your air fryer for the juiciest, most delicious kielbasa you will ever eat.

It’s been years since I’ve had kielbasa, but I couldn’t resist a sale on the most incredible-looking turkey kielbasa recently. You could also use beef or pork kielbasa with this recipe. I decided to make air-fryer kielbasa because I wanted something quick and easy, and this recipe did not disappoint. Besides, how much easier does it get than slicing the sausage and placing it in the air fryer? That’s it!
Why should you cook kielbasa in an air fryer? The first reason is probably apparent. It’s quick! Depending on the thickness, it only takes six to nine minutes to cook. Just remember to flip the slices halfway through cooking. Another benefit of using the air fryer is that it reduces the risk of oil or fat splattering from a skillet. And, by not cooking the kielbasa on the stove, you are likely reducing a small amount of calories, as the sausage is not sitting in the fat. Instead, it drains away in the air fryer basket.
The result of air-fryer cooking is the juiciest sausage you could ever want. Whether you slice it before cooking or air-fry it whole, you are in for a delicious, hands-off meal. I set a timer for four minutes and flipped it at that point, judging the level of doneness to decide how much longer to cook it.

One sausage, so many uses!
There are so many ways to use air-fryer kielbasa that you might have a hard time deciding what to do with it. I had a hard time not eating it all straight from the air fryer the first time I made it that way. My big mistake was trying a piece when it was done. You probably know the feeling when you taste something, and it’s so good that you need a second taste. Well, that’s what happened to me. I pulled out my yellow and spicy gold mustards from the refrigerator and had to try a slice with each. Then I remembered the Dijon Mustard Recipe I made. I tend to forget some of the spice mixes and condiments I make until something reminds me. That led to creating a delicious sandwich with Gluten-Free Flatbread and this Sauerkraut Recipe that I had on hand.
Don’t let your imagination stop there. This kielbasa is excellent in stir-fries, soups, potatoes, pasta, salads, and fried rice. You can add it to omelets, frittatas, scrambled eggs, hash, and quiche. And, of course, place it on a platter with a bowl of mustard and some toothpicks and just munch away! It’s an ideal snack when watching your favorite sports team on TV!

How do I store leftovers?
Allow the air-fryer kielbasa to cool to room temperature, but don’t leave it out for more than 2 hours. Refrigerate leftovers in an airtight container for 3 to 4 days. Once chilled, you can freeze the kielbasa in freezer-safe containers or zippered bags for up to 3 months. Defrost it overnight in the refrigerator before reheating in a skillet, 350°F oven, microwave, or 375°F air fryer until warmed through.

Serving suggestions
Aside from serving air-fryer kielbasa with mustard, other great dipping or glazing sauces include Gluten-Free Teriyaki Sauce, Honey Buffalo Sauce, and Bourbon BBQ Sauce. Substitute the kielbasa for the diced ham in Black-Eyed Peas And Rice. Add the kielbasa to Roasted Red Pepper Pasta for a filling meal. Or, make one of the most delicious sandwiches you can imagine with Muffuletta Bread and this savory Muffuletta Spread.
