After all, you want to make the bacon the right level of crispy while also making sure the steak isn’t undercooked or overcooked. But if you can devote the right amount of attention to preparing the meat, you’ll have a juicy and delicious filet mignon that has a piece of crispy bacon wrapped around it. It’s truly like going to meat-lover heaven.
Is Bacon-Wrapped Steak Healthy?

Ingredients
- 4 filet mignon steaks 1 1/2 inches thick
- Kosher salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
- 4 slices of bacon

Instructions

Season steaks with salt and pepper. Wrap a slice of bacon around the sides of each steak, securing with a toothpick if necessary.

Preheat a skillet over medium-high heat and add olive oil.

Place the bacon-wrapped steaks in the skillet. First, cook the sides with the bacon, turning every 20-30 seconds until all of the bacon is crispy.
