I thought I knew about every type of bread that existed. But then I was introduced to avocado bread, and I realized that there are so many more kinds of delicious bread in the world.
If you have a couple of ripe avocados and a little bit of time, you can bake a loaf of avocado bread. For the most part, it’s no different to any other type of bread; it just has avocados and pecans in it. The bread should come out soft and moist, practically melting in your mouth—similar to banana bread. It will probably be the greenest loaf of bread you’ve ever baked, so don’t let the unique color scare you. Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease and flour a 9 inch x 5 inch baking pan and set aside.
