Imagine your life as a huge, perhaps even infinite, piece of canvas. And all the things that you do, say, wear, feel, eat or see becomes a specific stroke and color on this canvas. Imagine yourself as the artist, the genius behind every touch. How would this impact how you live your life? What things would you do differently? What things would remain just the same? Do you have a favorite color? Do you dare to do something unexpected with your art? Does it tell a story, and if so, what story would it be? Are you aware of it? Or is it happening to you as if you had no idea it was even there, like a background noise that’s become so familiar you don’t notice it?
Learn to notice it, even in the small things, for as all things, they matter too. Fall in love with the way you live your own life and your life will become an epic love story, not necessarily for anyone else to enjoy, but for you. For your pleasure to then be shared. Because once you are so full of that loving awareness and creative expansiveness, it ripples and emanates, creating a whole world beyond your wildest dreams. That is the beauty of true art, it takes on its own character and becomes complete in itself, once we merely allow it to.
And it starts from within, in the details of everyday living. Where do you fall short and forget? Where do you drop the paintbrush and let others paint across your masterpiece in ways that don’t resonate with your heart and soul? Where are you too restrictive, structured and perfectionistic to allow things to unfold more organically?
Notice. And fall in love with it all. Become the embodiment of what you create by loving it so much there is no separation. You are one with it, and it is you and none of matters anymore. You are a dancing piece of energy in the wind and when you fade you will have sparked with all your might and that it all that the divine ever cared for. And the divine does not stop loving you, not before not after you fade. It loves you like it loves all of creation, the way you learn day by day to love it, so that eventually you may realize from your own experience how deep and vast and powerful and infinite the divine love is for you, because that is how you’re now awakening to and learning how to love. And that’s all that ever mattered.
Much love -A
